 I want to thank you for the support and wonderful customer service that I  received from all that I have dealt with in your company, from the beginning to the end while building my custom engine. You guys went a step above your normal  services to provide me with additional parts and upgrades to satisfy my needs during the build. I would also like to thank you for involving me in the build by sending me pictures, offering me a better or more functional part than requested, as well as  informing me of the status of the build. I just want to add that the engine performs better than anticipated, and I  have had no problems what so ever. It is a rare thing to see an old jacked up Chevy rolling balls to the walls like a bat out of hell. (0 to 60 in low 14’s) I thank you again  for tending to my cares and concerns while providing quality craftmanship and customer service.

I wanted to drop you a line regarding the Chevy 383 stroker short block you built for me at ATK High Performance Engines.   I do not usually write letters for any reason-good or bad.  However, I had to write you because honestly, the short block you built for me is unbelievable, far surpassing my expectations.   After speaking with you regarding what I was looking for, you said all the right things:  how each engine is hand assembled by top assemblers using only premium parts-Scat, SRP/JE, ARP to name a few.   No cheap no-name parts I never heard of.  If you had, I wouldn’t be writing to you today.  My short block shipped with all forged internals, a Comp. roller cam, the best of everything.  The price from ATK was less expensive then the others who were offering nothing more then the short block with no cam, timing chain/gears, cover, oil pan, etc.  Having said that there is still one thing that stands out to me- which is when you mentioned a conference call with me, you and Mark to discuss exactly what I was looking for in my short block: what was my    intended use, would I be using a power-adder and many questions like that.  This conference call really got me thinking about the type of quality and commitment you have when building your engines.  I was impressed.  Typically you place your order hopefully knowing what you want, pay for it and that’s it.  You and Mark advised me on all my questions-and I had a ton of them.  Best part is, I wanted a cam that sounded as lopey as possible for that hard-core hot rod sound and you delivered.   After bolting on my aluminum heads and everything else, my car sounds insane and goes like hell!  I get a ton of compliments on how my engine sounds and performs.  Many think it’s a big block until I pop the hood! Let whoever reads this know I am a very satisfied customer-  and not someone hired to write a nice letter.  Anyone looking for a quality, well built short block or   complete engine would be foolish to not contact ATK first.

I wanted to send you some pictures of my finished project and let you know how thrilled I am with the engine. The engine showed up in perfect condition as it was packaged secure. I started the install the next day with no problems. After connecting all pieces and parts I was ready to fire it up - it purred like a kitten or roared like a lion as this thing has some muscle.
