ATK developed a new timing cover that covers the 2007-2011 Jeep Wrangler (JK, JKU, JKUR) 3.8L engine. It is very well known that the timing covers were defective from the factory.
TSB Number: 09-008-07 (Timing chain cover porosity). This new casting resolves the issue allowing for a leak free Jeep.
